THE VENUE GUIDE
This beautiful swim club turned barn is filled with a variety of gorgeous settings for your day. The carriage house is the perfect place for Brides to enjoy a few mimosa's before getting into her wedding dress.
With a beautiful outdoor ceremony location secluded from the surrounding roads and neighborhoods, you'll love walking down the aisle to your significant other. Looking out at all of your guests with the barn in the background will be a moment you'll never forget.
As you walk the grounds, you’ll capture photos that will grace your home for decades to come. You’ll dance the night away inside the barn lit with twinkly lights, and a long catwalk connecting the balconies. Your guests will feel right at home inside. The best part is that you don't need to go overboard with decor because The Barn on Bridge has charm built in.
As you drive back down the lane, leaving the Barn as newlyweds, you’ll look over at your incredible partner and thank God you’re married to such an amazing person. And you’ll always remember how beautiful your day truly was.
THE PERFECT VENUE
It's the day of your wedding and sunlight is streaming through the tress behind your officiant as he asks you to repeat after him. Your guests wait in anticipation. The giant red barn watches as well. You repeat the words and your officiant says, "You may kiss..."

The perfect location to get into your wedding dress and do some final hair and makeup touches. There are two getting ready rooms upstairs. The biggest tip is to keep this area clean and clutter free. It is air conditioned as well, so no need to worry for those of you getting married in the summer. There is also a full kitchen towards the back of the house.
It's time for your first look, portraits and bridal party photos. We'll most likely head down across the street to the bridge for your first look. It's more secluded down here with a creek, bridge and tall trees that will make for amazing backgrounds for your portraits.
The field is just out front of the barn. Can you believe this actually used to be a pool? That's right! They converted this place from swim club to wedding venue. This area has a lot of wide open space allowing you to decorate however you' like. The barn makes for a great backdrop as you walk down the aisle, too!
Inside The Barn on Bridge is where you'll find loads of charm. With an iron spiral staircase, a catwalk connecting two balconies and a panoramic window at the front, you'll love dancing the night away in this rustic venue.
Should we both get ready at The Barn on Bridge?
We suggest getting hair and makeup done at The Courtyard by Marriott, but getting into your dresses at The Barn on Bride's carriage house. The Barn allows you to arrive 2 hours prior with the option to add on hours. We've found it's helpful to add an extra hour, especially if you're sharing in a first look. This gives you enough time to arrive, get in your dress, and take pictures without any stress.
Where do you recommend taking our family portraits?
Family photos most often happen right at the ceremony space. We may do it under the arbor if the lighting is nice or we may shift you into the corner with the white fence and hedges as your background. If we're experiencing some rain, we may take photos under the over hang on The Barn's patio. Either way, we'll put you in the very best spot for lighting.
What time should we schedule our ceremony to begin?
This is going to depend on the time of year that you're getting married. If you're sharing in a first look, the best time to have your ceremony end is 1 hour prior to sunset. If you're not sharing in a first look then we would suggest your ceremony ending 2 hours prior to sunset. Most ceremonies at The Barn on Bridge last approximately 30 minutes.
Do they allow for sparkler exits? Should we do one?
The Barn on Bridge does not allow for sparkler exits for safety reasons. However, we've photographed some great exits using bubbles, glow-sticks, and American flags. Get creative with your exit and think outside the box. Who knows? You might start a new trend.
How long should we plan to take bride & groom portraits?
We typically schedule 45 minutes for bride + groom portraits if you're sharing in a first look. If you're not sharing in a first look, you can expect to have approximately 10 minutes for bride and groom photos. For this reason, we highly encourage a first look because your photos are the first things to get cut short if something runs behind.
Should We Do Our First Dance On The Catwalk or on The Dance Floor?
We actually prefer that you share your first dance right at the door. This will allow for your guests on both balconies and around the room to witness your first and parent dances. It also is easier for us to photograph than up on the catwalk or on the dance floor and will provide you with a better backdrop for photos.
